Special regulations
According to Japanese regulations, if retail and wholesale are designated in the 35th category of services, and more than one item is designated, the reviewer has the right to request corrections or make a declaration of use, or delete the product.

專用期限: 註冊日起10年屆滿，屆滿後每次可延展10年
Declaration of Use
依照美國程序，在美國商標程序中，有三個時間點需要提出使用宣示/聲明：
註冊前提交的使用聲明（Statement of Use, SOU）
若申請基礎為意圖使用1(b)（Intent to Use, ITU），於註冊前需提交使用聲明，經官方接受後方得註冊。
註冊後第5~6年的使用宣示（Declaration of Use under Section 8 / Section 8 + 15）
Section 8
商標註冊人在商標註冊後的第5到6年間必須向美國商標局提交Section 8 宣誓聲明書，聲明該商標在商業中繼續使用在指定的商品或服務上，以證明該註冊商標繼續有效。
要注意:

提交時若商標所有權有發生變化，必須辦理相對應的手續。

若無法在期限內提交宣誓書，當商標註冊日第六年屆滿時，註冊商標將被撤銷。
Section 8+15

依據美國商標法，若商標註冊人所註冊的商標於註冊日後連續五年於美國使用，則可提出Section 15 的申請，以取得不可爭議的商標權（Incontestability）。

如此一來，商標註冊人便可以在市場上獨佔此註冊商標，並且任何第三人皆無法以該商標缺乏顯著性來要求撤銷，對於商標註冊人來說，則是取得了莫大的保護。
延展時的使用宣示（Declaration of Use）
商標到期延展時，需同時提交使用宣示。
